I led the design for Samsung Global Sustainability, focused on the global release of Samsung’s 2050 sustainability goals. My challenge was to distill a 100+ page, dense sustainability report into simple, creative, and social-first content that would resonate with Millennials, Gen Z, and global audiences.
During the release of this report, greenwashing concerns were at an all-time high, and consumers were increasingly skeptical of corporate claims. It was crucial that the content be accurate, transparent, and legally sound, while remaining engaging and easily digestible for social media platforms.
To break from the typical aesthetic often used in sustainability content, I created an artful, thought-provoking visual approach. I visually represented Samsung’s tangible actions and their positive potential by juxtaposing two images that connected Samsung’s efforts to a more sustainable future, effectively communicating the message without resorting to overused or misleading tropes.
